The Training Bureau coordinates and supports development of Operations personnel to safely and efficiently meet the needs of our citizens. From the recruit academy to promotional processes, the Training Bureau works with internal and external partners to develop competent and professional emergency responders. Training is delivered in a variety of ways to meet current and future challenges.
Operations personnel meet recurring training requirements for certification through the State of Colorado as EMS, Fire, and Hazardous Materials responders. Additional training focuses on safety, new technology and techniques, personnel management, leadership and other topics.
