The Cunningham Fire Protection District is a service-orientated organization that is dedicated to providing the highest level of patient care possible. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is a very large but also a very important part of what we do to serve the community. We deliver emergency medical care to our citizens with highly skilled Colorado State Certified Paramedics on our ambulances and Basic Level Certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) on our engines.
The Cunningham Fire Protection District is able to provide these services via partnerships with many other organizations. These partners assist with medical direction, education and highly competent care for the patients we transport.
Along with providing on-scene care and patient transport, the EMS Bureau also provides: CPR training, AED training and a yearly open house in celebration of EMS Week that provides education, tours of the equipment we use, and a fantastic chance for the public to talk to our care givers.

If we transport you or a family member to a hospital or provide extensive on scene care, you will receive a bill for service. We believe you get great care from our EMTs and Paramedics but property taxes alone do not cover the entire cost of the service. If you have a question about an ambulance bill, you can contact our billing service, WIBS at 303.525.9287.
