Welcome to the Cunningham Fire Protection District’s home page. The District covers portions of unincorporated Arapahoe County, dual jurisdiction areas within the City of Aurora, and a portion of the City of Centennial.
District’s fire and emergency medical services are provided by a group of highly skilled professional men and women, who pride themselves on quality care. District employees have varying degrees of visibility, those in uniform that the public is familiar with, and those who keep things running behind the scenes. All of the District’s employees are valued, and comprise the heart and soul of our agency.
Cunningham has a long history of community involvement. Whether it is to teach our youngest residents on how to respond to a fire situation using the fire safety house, conducting extrication demonstrations, performing car-seat safety checks, participating in community parades, visiting birthday parties, holding open house on EMS and Fire Prevention weeks, etc. Everyone at Cunningham is continually striving to improve public service and remain active in community involvement.
The District’s board of directors, staff and members work jointly to provide a community that is a safe place to live, work and play, now and into the future. This is accomplished by providing the highest possible level of fire protection, emergency medical services, life safety and public education through the most efficient use of resources.
As Chief of the Cunningham Fire Protection District, is a pleasure to work with dedicated personnel who continually strive to improve their skills and service to the community. I am proud to have the opportunity to lead this organization into the future.
